SPECIAL SPACE PLAY THERAPY
EMPOWERING KIDS

‘Play Therapy has helped children manage their feelings more effectively, regulate and improve their emotional literacy. I would highly recommend Katie as a Play Therapist.’   Headteacher testimonial - September 2025.

Katie worked 1:1 with our son for 12 weeks, and she quickly understood what worked for him, built a strong and trusting relationship, and created a space where he felt safe and happy to go each week. We noticed positive changes in him very quickly, and at the end of sessions with Katie, there was a clear shift in his behaviour, emotional regulation and overall wellbeing. His school noticed the difference too.   Parent testimonial - December 2025.

What is Play Therapy?

Play Therapy provides a safe space for children who struggle to understand how they are feeling or find it hard to put their emotional experiences into words. It helps children process and communicate their thoughts and feelings, as well as unresolved trauma through the creative toolkit.  Talking can be very challenging and fearful for children and this is not required.

IT CAN BE A WORRYING TIME

if your child is unhappy or behaving in ways that are difficult to understand or support. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and talk you through what Play Therapy is and how it works. I offer a free online consultation if this is easier.

With Special Space Play Therapy, help is nearer than you think.  I can help to support you, the parents, too. Why not arrange a no obligation call?
