Why refer your child?
Play Therapy can help your child process their emotions as well as enable them to communicate their thoughts and feelings through the use of the creative toolkit. By creating a safe space for your child, they are given the opportunity to work through deeper emotional fears and experiences. You might refer your child if:
-
they are struggling to attend school
-
finding it difficult to communicate their thoughts and feelings
-
experiencing emotional and social difficulties, such as anger, anxiety, phobias, low self-confidence
-
Difficulty forming peer relationships
-
Loss, bereavement or parental separation
-
Trauma and attachment
-
A family member with a long term illness or disability
Supporting the family
I will support you, the parents and listen to you as a family and, together, we can make a plan to support your child. I can offer a free consultation to give you the opportunity to be heard and decide whether this is the right path for your child without any obligation to carry on.

I work from a space just outside Brighton and cover a wide area of West and Mid Sussex.

Feel free to get in touch today via email and we can have a no obligation chat about whether Play Therapy sessions would be right for your child.
